Home swim Dolphins vs. River Oak Rapids and Woods of Parkview.
Hello Dolphins,
We are excited to host our second home swim meet of the season this Thursday as we take on the River Oak Rapids and Woods of Parkview!
We are also keeping an eye on the potential weather for Thursday. Please make sure to carefully read through the list of items parents should bring, as we have added a few extra recommendations in case of rain.
This meet’s theme is Toy Story! 🤠🚀🧸
Get ready to show your team spirit by wearing your favorite Toy Story-themed shirt, accessories, or colors. Whether you’re Team Woody, Buzz, Jessie, or the Aliens, we would love to see everyone join in on the fun!
Bring your Toy Story spirit and help us make this meet a fun and memorable evening for all of our swimmers and families.

Inclement Weather Procedures: If we experience inclement weather in the area, we will need to clear the pool deck immediately. We ask that all families and swimmers head to their vehicles and wait for further information regarding the continuation or postponement of the meet.
Families are more than welcome to bring a canopy to sit under during the meet.
Parking & Arrival Information: Please review the parking and entrance directions carefully before arriving.
Once you pull into the facility, continue all the way down to the stop sign and take a right. We are asking all swim team participants and spectators to park in the lower parking lots, as our facility will remain open to members and summer camp pick-up will be happening at the same time.
If you need to park closer to the building, please be mindful of families and guests who may require those parking spaces closer.
We encourage everyone to park in the areas highlighted by the red square on the map provided.
Attached to this email you will find:
- Heat sheet
- Entry report
- Volunteer list
To locate your swimmer’s events:
- Find your swimmer’s name on the entry report.
- Locate the event number listed beside their name.
- Use that event number to find their heat and lane assignment on the heat sheet.
Please refer to the “How to Mark Your Swimmer” guide before the meet. It is ideal to write your child’s last name and age on their back. Please also mark all events on your swimmer’s arm before arriving to the meet, as this will help create a smoother process for your child.
Grids for Swimmers
This is really easy. Simply draw a grid (like a tic-tac-toe board) on your swimmers arm.(usually with a sharpie pen) With the 3 numbers that we talked about above, we write those #’s in the grid and ta-da!!!, your swimmer now knows exactly when and where they need to be for their events.
If for any reason your child is no longer able to attend the meet, please send an email to Coach Phyllis ASAP. [email protected]
Please also take a moment to view the volunteer list. It is looking great, but we do still have a couple of positions that need to be filled. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer. We truly cannot run a successful swim meet without your support.
Go Dolphins!
