I’ve been swimming since I was 10 years old and I started on the Dolphins swim team! I’ve been coaching for the last four years with the Dolphins which has been super awesome to get to give back to something that I’ve loved for so long. My favorite events to swim are the 200 and 500 freestyle. My favorite thing about coaching is getting to see the swimmers improve. Blue ribbons are always fun but I love giving out speed breakers!
Hello my name is Kareem! I have been swimming competitively for around 6 years and have been in water as long as I can remember. Currently swimming for Grayson highschool and previously swam for swim Atlanta and flowers crossing. My favorite thing about coaching is increasing the kid’s confidence in sprint technique!

She believes swimming is about so much more than learning strokes or improving times; it has the power to build confidence, courage, discipline, and a true sense of accomplishment. As a mom and coach, Hilary loves encouraging kids to believe in themselves, celebrate their progress, and discover just how much they’re capable of both in and out of the water.
I was born and raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. At an early age I learned to swim at the local YMCA. After learning to swim I joined the swim team and later become a swim instructor and lifeguard. Swimming has always been an important part of me growing up and staying activity.
After moving to Georgia and having children, they also had a passion for swimming. We spent many years at Thursday night summer leagues swim meets. Some of my favorite memories happened at those meets.
Following my passion of swimming, seven years ago I began teaching swim lessons at the J.M. Tull- Gwinnett Family YMCA and will be my second year as a swim coach. I’m excited for the new swim season and looking forward to watching the swimmers achieve their goals.
