BWBZ vs YMCA info
Hello Dolphins,
Tomorrow is the second swim meet of the season! Please take the time to read this email regarding tomorrow’s swim meet. Below is information from the other team.
During the first meet, swimmers left early before the second set of relays. Relays had to be scratched due to swimmers and parents leaving early. Parents, your swimmer must see a coach before leaving to ensure they are not in a relay or may be needed for a relay.
Also, we understand things happen, but if you are not able to make the meet for any reason, you need to email Coach Phyllis ASAP so she can note the absence and make the necessary changes. [email protected]
Address: 1480 Water Shine Way, Snellville, GA 30078
- Swimmer and Volunteer check-in: arrive no earlier than 5 PM
- Warmups: 5:25 pm
- Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges meetings will be at 5:45 on the pool deck
- Meet will begin at 6:00
The heat sheet for tomorrow and the swimmer check-in report are attached to the bottom of the email. You can use the summer check-in report to easily find yours and then locate them on the heat sheet. Please use the diagram below to mark on your swimmer. For our younger swimmers, we ask you to write their last name and age on their backs, which helps the timers and staging volunteers.
Please note that Coach Phyllis had to make some relay adjustments. This will be indicated on the swimmers' check-in slips when they arrive at the meet.
I have also attached the volunteer list for this meet. We need timers, send Erin an email at [email protected]. She will also be at the check-in table, ensuring all of our volunteer positions are filled.

Grids for Swimmers
This is really easy. Simply draw a grid (like a tic-tac-toe board) on your swimmers arm.
(usually with a sharpie pen) With the 3 numbers that we talked about above, we write those #’s in the grid and ta-da!!!, your swimmer now knows exactly when and where they need to be for their events.

Go Dolphins!
