Away swim meet TGY @ CC info
Hello Dolphins,
Tomorrow is the first swim meet of the season! Please take the time to read this email regarding tomorrow’s swim meet. Below is information from the other team.
Address: 853 Angevine Court SW, Lilburn 30047
- Swimmer and Volunteer check-in: arrive no earlier than 5 PM
- Warmups: 5:20 pm
- Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges meetings will be at 5:45 on the pool deck
- We will host a few bubble heats for our little swimmers. We expect those to start at 5:55, just after the National Anthem.
- Meet will begin at 6:00
The heat sheet for tomorrow and the swimmer check-in report are attached to the bottom of the email. You can use the summer check-in report to easily find yours and then locate them on the heat sheet. Please use the diagram below to mark on your swimmer. For our younger swimmers, we ask you to write their last name and age on their backs, which helps the timers and staging volunteers.
Please note that Coach Phyllis had to make some relay adjustments. This will be indicated on the swimmers' check-in slips when they arrive at the meet.
I have also attached the volunteer list for this meet. We have some open spots that need to be filled. If you can help, send Erin an email at [email protected]. She will also be at the check-in table, ensuring all of our volunteer positions are filled.

Message from Away team:
- Please tell your parents to not enter the parking lot to drop-off swimmers--there is no space to turn around; swimmer drop-off is at the top of the pool driveway/entrance
- If space is available, please only park in painted spots in the parking lot (no curb parking)
- Abide by the No Parking signs throughout our neighborhood--no parking in grass and parking only on one side of the street
- When entering the pool, the visiting team’s area is on the left
- Parents are reminded to bring chairs
- Feel free to also use the grassy area outside the fence for seating
- Our concession stand offers dinner items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, candy and drinks
Grids for Swimmers
Now that you know how to read the heat sheet, let’s talk about how to keep your swimmer ready for their events.
This is really easy. Simply draw a grid (like a tic-tac-toe board) on your swimmers arm.
(usually with a sharpie pen) With the 3 numbers that we talked about above, we write those #’s in the grid and ta-da!!!, your swimmer now knows exactly when and where they need to be for their events.

Go Dolphins!
