Hello Dolphins,

The 2024 – 2025 season has officially come to an end. I want to take a moment to thank the coaches, Phyllis, Diane, George, and Rachel, for putting their knowledge and dedication into this team. Also, thank you to Erin Verville for her commitment and her support. A big thank you to all our swimmers that have been with us since September, the coaches have seen an extreme improvement in all of our swimmer this season. Lastly, thank you to all the parents. If not for you, your children would not have had the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow in this sport.

On Saturday, March 1st, 2025, we competed in the YMCA of Metro Atlanta championships swim meet. Twelve teams competed in this championship meet throughout our metro Atlanta YMCA association. Our team placed third in the large team division. Excellent job to all the swimmers who competed this weekend. What an incredible experience.

Awards Night:

Saturday, March 8, 2025

Location: J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We will begin the night with team awards. Afterward, we will have a free swim for all swimmers and families, so please bring your swimsuit and towels. Join us for some fun in celebrating the end of our season.

We will be having a dessert bar during the awards. We are asking all families to bring one dessert. This could be something you make or buy from the store. We will be providing utensils and plates.

• Swim team stroke clinic: March 11 – April 3 on Tuesday and Thursday. 10 and under, 5 pm to 6 pm, 11 and 6 pm to 7 pm. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
• Summer swim team prep: Tuesday and Thursday, April 15 – May 1. For children 10 and under, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
