First of all, I would like to start by saying awesome job to all the swimmers and volunteers that helped the team run a successful first swim meet of the season. You can view the full meet results on our ream website under the meet results tab.

I have a couple of parents that will be working on the swimmers ribbon folders and ribbons from the first meet today at practice. Ribbons are awarded to 1st through 5th place individuals and relay events. There is also a ribbon for personal best. This ribbon is given to swimmers that have earned their fastest time for that event. Ribbons can be picked up next week in the swimmers folder located on the pool deck. Siblings will have to share folders.

Parents if you put a $75 deposit down for swim team dues meaning you will be paying monthly for the four next month. Sunday, October 1 was the first day of payment was taken out. Please check your account and make sure that money was taken out. I do not want to get to the end of the season in February and noticed that nothing was paid for and you have a big bill to pay for. If you did not have money taken out for the month, please send me an email so I can look into it to see what happened. [email protected]

Our next swim meet will be Saturday, October 14 at the Summit Family YMCA. I understand this is a farther meet be we need swimmers to be able to score points for the team. Swim meet entries are due by Friday 10/6 at 11:59 pm. Please login into the website to let us know if your swimmer will be attending or not attending this meet. Also, don't forget to sign up for your volunteer positions for the meet as well. Each family is responsible for working three meets this season.
